Everything Your Family's Cookbook Needs

Build your library, plan with rotation, shop smarter

Your Private Recipe Library

Save the recipes you actually cook. Star your family favorites. Yours forever, never shared, never indexed by search engines.

Smart Weekly Rotation

MealPlanner records the date each recipe was last in your menu and surfaces the ones you haven't cooked in the longest time first. Your favorites rotate naturally — no spreadsheet required.

Add Recipes Any Way

Add recipes any way: paste a URL from any cooking site (AI extracts the ingredients, steps, photos, and cook time), or type them in manually. Your library grows as fast as you want.

Auto Grocery Lists

Your weekly menu becomes a shopping list automatically, grouped by supermarket aisle. Print, share, or export to PDF.

Smart Pantry

Track what's already in your kitchen with expiration dates. Get suggestions for recipes that use ingredients about to expire. Less waste, less wasted money.

Recipe Photos

Add a beautiful photo to every recipe in seconds with AI. Upload your own, or generate one if you don't have a picture handy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about MealPlanner

What is MealPlanner?

MealPlanner is a free tool to build your family's digital cookbook. Save the recipes you actually cook (import from any URL or add manually), plan a weekly menu with automatic rotation that surfaces the recipes you haven't cooked in the longest time, and turn that menu into a grocery list grouped by supermarket aisle. Built for Belgian, Dutch, and French households.

Is MealPlanner really free?

Yes, MealPlanner is completely free for personal use. No credit card, no trial period, no hidden costs. Unlimited recipes, unlimited menus, and unlimited grocery lists.

Can I import recipes from any website?

Yes. Paste a recipe URL and our AI automatically extracts the title, ingredients, cooking steps, photos, and cook time. Works with most recipe sites worldwide, including Belgian and Dutch food blogs. You can also add recipes manually if you want — your library, your way.

Which supermarkets does MealPlanner work with?

MealPlanner is optimized for major Belgian and Dutch supermarkets, including Colruyt, Delhaize, and Albert Heijn. Grocery lists are grouped by aisle. You can export or print them for use at any store.

How do you avoid repeating the same meals every week?

MealPlanner records the date each recipe was last in your weekly menu. When you build a new menu, the recipe picker surfaces the meals you haven't cooked in the longest time first — so your family naturally rotates through its favorites without you having to remember when you last cooked each one. Recipe cards also show "last cooked X days ago" so you can decide at a glance.

Are my recipes and data private?

Yes. Your recipes, menus, and grocery lists are private by default and only visible when you're logged in. Pages under /app are blocked from search engines via robots.txt and X-Robots-Tag headers. We use encryption in transit and at rest, and we never share your data with third parties.

Ready to plan from your own recipes?

Free forever. No credit card. Build your family's recipe library in minutes.
