MealPlanner is a free tool to build your family's digital cookbook. Save the recipes you actually cook (import from any URL or add manually), plan a weekly menu with automatic rotation that surfaces the recipes you haven't cooked in the longest time, and turn that menu into a grocery list grouped by supermarket aisle. Built for Belgian, Dutch, and French households.
Your recipe library is yours — every recipe you save, every menu you plan, every grocery list you export. We never share your library publicly, never index it in search engines, and never use your recipes to train AI. Think of it as your family's digital cookbook, owned by you, hosted by us.
MealPlanner records the date each recipe was last in your weekly menu. When you build a new menu, the recipe picker surfaces the meals you haven't cooked in the longest time first — so your family naturally rotates through its favorites without you having to remember when you last cooked each one. Recipe cards also show "last cooked X days ago" so you can decide at a glance.
Yes. Paste a recipe URL and our AI automatically extracts the title, ingredients, cooking steps, photos, and cook time. Works with most recipe sites worldwide, including Belgian and Dutch food blogs. You can also add recipes manually if you want — your library, your way.
Yes. Your recipes, menus, and grocery lists are private by default and only visible when you're logged in. Pages under /app are blocked from search engines via robots.txt and X-Robots-Tag headers. We use encryption in transit and at rest, and we never share your data with third parties.
Yes, MealPlanner is completely free for personal use. No credit card, no trial period, no hidden costs. Unlimited recipes, unlimited menus, and unlimited grocery lists.
MealPlanner is optimized for major Belgian and Dutch supermarkets, including Colruyt, Delhaize, and Albert Heijn. Grocery lists are grouped by aisle. You can export or print them for use at any store.
Add ingredients you have at home, optionally with expiration dates. MealPlanner uses this information to suggest recipes that use up items nearing expiration, helping you waste less food.
MealPlanner is fully available in Dutch, French, and English. Switch languages at any time from your profile.
